East Adelaide Psychology: Fees

 

Please enquire about the fee structure (bulk-billing rates available for eligible clients).

 

There are a number of payment options:

 

GP Referral

Make an appointment to see your GP before your first appointment and ask for a referral to a psychologist (called a Mental Health Care Plan), which entitles you to a Medicare rebate of $84.80 per 50-60 minute appointment for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year. Please note that the full amount is payable at the time of your appointment, however, you can claim your Medicare rebate on the spot. Please email or bring in your referral to the first appointment.

 

Private Health

If you have private health insurance, you may be entitled to a rebate from your health fund.  Rebates vary between funds, so contact your provider for details. Please note that you can only claim one rebate per session, that is, either your Medicare or Private Health insurance rebate.

 

Full Fee

You are not required to obtain a referral from your GP and may choose to pay the full fee.

Cancellations without 24 hours notice will incur a fee.
